I went in due to their $10 off coupon only for the cashier to tell me the brand of clothes I chose were excluded.
I visited here with my mom and my baby. I had wanted to purchase a gift card using my jcp credit card so I went to the salon as I was advised they sell Sephora gift cards and associate Denise was already doing five things at once. There was no sign saying that they were closed so as I'm holding my baby I'm saying "hello hello hello" because I could hear Associates on the other side of the wall talking. No one came out. I went back over to my mom and said, "I don't think they want our business because nobody's coming out". My mom got an associate who was on the other side of the wall just sitting down not even near her computer. The associate said "I can't help you but if you go over to here(& she walks US 10 ft) to the hair salon, she can help you"... There was a gentleman trying to get prices on a couple of items that he wanted and he followed us so that he could get help also. The lady in the hair salon said that she also could not help us. We went back over to Rosalind and ask to speak to a manager. We were told the manager was not there today so the assistant manager, Angie, came out. As soon as we started telling me assistant manager what we needed Rosalind came back out, interrupting my mom and I while we're telling her what happened and lies saying that she did not say that she couldn't help us! The assistant manager allows this to happen, doesn't correct her associate nor stands up for us customers. I called Frank the general manager and tried to tell him what had happened. He interrupted me and said how can I help you before I even got done explaining what had happened. To say the least, people that work for this location, with the exception of Ms Denise and a few Associates who were great, do not care about customer service or keeping their very long term customers. Frank accused my mother&I of filling out a survey and already speaking w/corporate although we had not yet done so?! Where does he get this information, he didn't even want to tell me why he thought we had done that. Very rude, inconsiderate, unprofessional management. I will NOT be returning to this location and will be continuing to tell our experience to corporate until something is done, professionally. All I wanted was a gift card!...

It's been a few months since I've been here. I returned on Black Friday because I've seen their ad advertised everywhere. I got some huge discounts. There were new faces, and, there no more of that Carmen woman who made my first experience just awful. Mary, Michelle and Denise were so helpful and kind. They won my business. If it wasn't for my card coming in the mail, I would've forgotten to make an improved review.
